Cedar

真柏，柏科常綠樹木，原生長於中國、日本等地之高山或斷崖石壁。四季蒼翠，木質堅硬，其針葉細小緊密，呈現深綠色至藍綠色之鱗片狀，春季時生長新枝條。特色在於其成熟時，幹肌局部剝落成片狀，露出淺灰色表面，如模擬在自然界中受風化或雷擊的力量摧殘。真柏及其鱗葉朝氣蓬勃，亦象徵著堅韌、長壽、福貴與莊嚴。

The cedar, an evergreen tree from the cypress family, is native to mountainous regions and rocky cliffs in China and Japan. It remains lush and green year-round, with dense, small needle-like leaves that range from deep green to bluish-green. In spring, new shoots appear.
