此樹為「島松」，意指「海島邊的松樹」，並且為「低頭橫型」，四面的枝條都分布地很豐滿。樹身粗大完整，皮殼龜裂、老相明顯，極具年代感，整體原生枝條保存完整，不僅有流向、也具備豐滿、旺盛並存的姿態，少見於野採黑松之中。
